We held our annual Monster March. The pupils were so well behaved that everybody got a night off homework!

Well done to the boys and girls football teams who made it through to the Cumann na mBunscol semi-finals this week. Unfortunately the boys were defeated by a stronger team on the day and while the girls competed well and showed great improvement throughout the competition, they also lost in a close and hard-fought game. Well done to our captains this year – Patrick Nolan and Caroline Roche – and thanks to Ms. Purcell for her work with the footballers.

A meeting was held in the school last night about "The Road to Reading". Parents of Junior and Senior Infants attended. Thanks to the Parents Association for their help in providing refreshments.
